ATC code overview

Distribution of drugs, annotated drug label associations, and burden test associations in PGxDB across 14 anatomical categories from the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) classification. The ATC classification system classifies approved drugs with a seven-digit code divided into five levels. The second layer shows a histogram representing the count of drugs within each of the 93 therapeutic categories. The third layer displays the number of Genebass PGx associations for missense variants with a p-value less than 0.05. The outer-most layer displays the number of drug-label annotations from PharmGKB (filtered for significant findings below a p-value threshold of 0.05) as a stacked histogram representing 25 disease classes, with darker columns indicating a higher number of diseases in that class. The most frequent disease in each class is annotated by name. The figure was generated using Circos
